What’s The Difference Between I-Beam and DWF Construction?
Both constructions provide excellent stability. The I-Beam construction offers a soft and comfortable tub while the DWF(double-wall fabric) construction makes the tub more steady. All materials used for our MSpa have been sourced with quality and comfort in mind. Each material used is highly durable and offers superior strength.
How Many People Can Fit In An MSpa?
It depends on the model you choose. You can find the number of people who can fit into an MSpa by using the hot-tub-finder.
What Is The Age Limit For Children?
An MSpa is not a toy pool so it is not suitable for children under 8 years old. Children over 8 years old, must be supervised at all times and must be comfortably tall enough to stand on the bottom and have their heads out of the water. We recommend that children over 8 years old only use a MSpa for a maximum of 10 minutes at a time.
What Is The Difference Between Air Jet And Hydro Jet?
Air Jet (bubbling massage system) utilizes a “massage seam” which is an extra air pocket that encircles the bottom of the spa. This will not inflate when the liner is inflated and instead is a material tube which includes tiny holes. When the bubble function is selected the pump pushes very high-pressure air through this tube. The air escapes through the included holes causing the air bubbling massage. All MSpa models come with Air Jet bubbling massage system.
Hydro Jet includes jet nozzles in positions within the liner. When this function is turned on, the pump circulates a high-pressure combination of water and air which is then released through the jets. These jets can be adjusted in both directions and pressure. Our MUSE series come with both Air Jet and Hydro Jet system to provide a vigorous massage.
Is The Spa Comfortable And Easy To Get In And Out Of?
The cushioning in the base of the spa is suitable for periods of extended use. MSpa non-slip bottom provides extra friction between the foot and the spa floor. For those who suffer from arthritis or struggle to move, we recommend an MSpa Wicker Step as it can provide extra assistance and support when entering and exiting the spa.
How Long Does An MSpa Last?
An MSpa can be enjoyed for many years if it is well maintained and cared for. We recommend that you pack away and store your MSpa correctly if it’s not used in colder months.
How Often Do I Need To Change The Water?
The frequency of changing the water really varies depending on how often you use the spa and how effectively you maintain your water with chemicals. We recommend you to change your hot tub water at least once every 2 months. The frequency of water changes can be reduced by keeping the spa covered when not in use, testing the water regularly to ensure proper chemical balance, operating the pump for an adequate number of hours each day, keeping the filter pump cartridge clean, and replacing the cartridge when needed.
Can I Use My MSpa In The Winter?
Yes you can.
All MSpa models are equipped with Anti-icing System since 2020. When the water temperature drops below 1°C/33.8°F, the ANTI-ICING System automatically activates your pump and heats up the water to 3°C/37.4°F. This will help prevent water and pipes from freezing so you can use your MSpa all year round.
Please do NOT leave your MSpa unused, with no power, when temperatures drop below 4°C/39°F.
How Do I Store My MSpa In The Winter?
Drain and deflate the spa, clean it with a mild non-abrasive cleaner, and then rinse thoroughly. After the spa is dry, put it into the original box with all accessories.
Store the spa and accessories in a dry, temperature-controlled environment, between 4°C and 40°C (39°F – 104°F). We recommend storing the spa with desiccant.
Do I Need A Flat Surface To Place A MSpa?
Yes, an MSpa needs to be placed on a completely flat and solid surface.
Where Is The Best Place To Set Up My MSpa?
Suitable Surface: A smooth, flat, even surface that is capable of uniformly supporting the entire filled weight of your MSpa plus the weight of the users. Positioning your MSpa on an uneven surface can cause unequal pressure on one side of the hot tub which will increase the likelihood of your liner failing.
Power Supply: You need to consider having a power supply that is close enough for the cable to reach (approx. length of the cable is 5.1m) but also far enough away so that water cannot splash into the socket.
Surroundings: placing your MSpa near a windbreak such as a fence will help to reduce wind exposure, helping it to retain more heat and in turn help to reduce your running costs. You should also consider where you will drain the water when required.
Do I Need To Use Chemicals And Why?
Yes, no matter how often or long you plan to use your hot tub, it is essential to treat the water in your MSpa using Chemicals. If you left your MSpa water without any treatment, it would soon become uncomfortable, unclean and potentially dangerous even just to passers-by.
Chemicals are a highly effective way to treat your MSpa, as they eliminate any harmful bacteria that can grow in warm water. (It takes you only 5-10 minutes per week for water maintenance by using MSpa all-in-one water treament package.)
Can I Leave My MSpa Running All The Time ?
Yes, if you are using your spa frequently, we recommend leaving the heat and filter on all the time as this is the most cost‑effective in the long run.
If you use your MSpa less regularly, it is suggested to use our Power Saving Timer which lets you control your heating in advance.
NOTE: When temperatures drop below 4°C/39°F and you are not intend to use your spa for an extended period of time, please turn off, drain and store your spa properly.
